Poet 03:19
Never let me down Never let me down Never let me down I'll be the poet in your heart Never let me down I'll be the poet in your heart Never let me down I'll be the poet in your heart Never let me down I'll be the poet in your heart Never let me down I'll be the poet in your heart Never let me down I'll be the poet in your heart And we will ride away And we will ride away And we will ride away And we will ride away And we will ride away Never let me down And we will ride away And we will ride away Never let me down (And we will ride away) I'll be the poet in your heart (And we will ride away) Never let me down (And we will ride away) I'll be the poet in your heart (And we will ride away) Never let me down (And we will ride away) I'll be the poet in your heart (And we will ride away) Never let me down (And we will ride away) I'll be the poet in your heart (And we will ride away) Never let me down (And we will ride away) I'll be the poet in your heart (And we will ride away)

All the gold in the world For all the pain in your heart Coz I know there are times We will begin to understand Open up your hearts tonight Hold the flame in your hands Hold them there into the night When the morning comes The love you do not to get I wonder when you go whenever you get I am much closer Stop pulling me away You were alive or so they say Stop pulling me away Here comes the night again Open up your hearts tonight Hold a mirrot the night Holdin up, I’m home Feeling all you go? Face down I remember All the time it took But it takes so much time to get up and know Always take You remember where I like to hold I’m too hold You too much to get I wonder when you go wherever you get I am much too close Stop pulling me away You were alive or so they say Stop pulling me away Here comes the night again Stop pulling me away You were alive or so they say Stop pulling me away Here comes the night again I remember how you called me up And I remember how The faces I want is tonight Slow it down, I remember you coming up I was waiting for the memories Slow it down, I remember You were a stranger that’s strange at night

You know too well That in the end The roof will break and they will then We know too well The time will come When we’ll be dancing in the sun When we’ll be dancing in the sun

Comfort 02:48
I never fall I wait for you A memory To comfort you Confusing now To look for you And now I go To talk to you You keep it close To comfort you And I know Oh what I don’t know And every memory Is too much to hold There is never anyway out

In the old town We settle What’s the difference If we run You collided With the sun You’re indifference Is it enough? Broken circles Broken hearts Hands together Now we can start Change the angle Change the parts You’re indifference Is it enough? We gave all that we had and we got nothing for it The colors that together we becoming You had my hope and you did nothing for it So much undone so much we believe in You had my hope and you did nothing for it So much undone and so much we believe in Hold my hand I’m here for you The past undone The moment true We walk both sides We’ve fallen through That dusty road We know so well
7.
Landslide 01:55
There’s something about you love As innocent as it seems I’ve considered that this might all cause a landslide And sometime ago I dreamt That you and I would escape Considering this might all cause a landslide
8.
You poured your water down on me I couldn’t pay my I couldn’t pay my way Something inside of me An earthquake Deep in my heart I Deep in my heart I felt it I felt it Chemical industry Flower deep in the dark Deep in the smoky light Will you remember me? My love When I cry out When I cry out your name When I cry out When I cry out your name When I cry out When I cry out your name Your figure in the hallway Dancing Shadows in the dark Shadows but there was no light Can we start again? Somehow When it is like this I am so in love When it is like this I am so in love

Hang Tight 03:50
All my life Songs remind me of you in the autumn time You don’t mind is all We take time Faint line we can’t remember why All of this is gone but Hang tight Hang low No one will know Hang tight Hang low Open eyes Wait for me into the morning comes Forever I know I can’t stand waiting up listen to you And I talk and talk waiting for us to Remember why Remember why Hang tight Hang low No one will know Hang tight Hang low

I hit the bottom (hit the changes) Went too far (went behind) For my little (for my little) Broken heart (too below) Now I wonder (now I am there) Who I was (out control) In those days (in the feeling) For my loss (when you found) Hit the bottom Went too far For my little Broken heart Now I wonder Who I was In those days (just for laughs) For my loss

about

Ten years ago, St. Lucia released their debut album "When The Night," featuring fan favorites "Elevate," "All Eyes on You," and "Closer Than This." As the band reflected on the past decade and went through their archives, they uncovered dozens of demos from this era that were never finished, nor released. As a special treat to their long time fans, St. Lucia have selected ten of their favorite demos from these archives to release on their EP "St. Lucia: Early Demos."

about

St. Lucia New York, New York

Led by husband-and-wife duo South Africa-born Jean-Philip Grobler and Germany-born Patti Beranek, St. Lucia retreat from a fractured world on fire and into the glow of a rapturous synth-spiked electro-pop catharsis—like a dance party at the edge of existence. With new work on the horizon through Nettwerk Records, the group beams out a light of their own and shines brighter than ever. ... more
